Sifu Liao began his martial arts journey at the age of 6, where his fascination for the elegance of the human form and the ability to generate power brought him to study an array of martial arts, including Wushu, Tae-Kwon-Do, Aikido, and Wing Chun.

In 2001 he began teaching general self-defense and awareness to better educate the community, and as his passion and dedication grew, Sifu Liao decided that he would grow old sharing the wisdom of Wing Chun.  He is the founder & Chief Instructor of Black Dragon Wing Chun, and CEO of Ronin Protection Services.

The Black Dragon Wing Chun curriculum has been refined through intense study and rigorous testing over the past two decades, and continues to evolve.
